Privacy

Draft โ€” last updated July 2026

The Daily Kit makes budget apps that are private by design. This page covers both the apps and this website, in plain language.

The apps collect nothing

Daily Budget and Monthly Budget have no accounts, no logins, and no analytics. Everything you enter is stored locally in your own browser, on your own device. We cannot see your budget, and neither can anyone else. Exports are files you download yourself; the live demo on the homepage keeps its sample data in memory and saves nothing at all.

This website

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to run the service. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, cookie-free visit counts. There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no data sold to anyone.

The email list

If you join our mailing list, your email address is processed by MailerLite, our email service provider. Sign-up is double opt-in (you confirm by email before you are subscribed), every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you promptly. We use the list for occasional product updates only.

Purchases

The apps are sold on Etsy. Your purchase, payment, and order details are handled by Etsy under Etsy's privacy policy; we receive only what Etsy shows sellers about an order.

Your rights & contact

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you (for most visitors: nothing beyond a mailing-list address), correct it, or have it deleted. Write to hello@thedailykit.app and we will sort it out.
